SynGMB

AI agents and MCP

Connect Claude or another AI assistant so it can read your data and propose changes.

What this is

SynGMB has no AI built in. Instead you can connect your own AI assistant, such as Claude, through MCP, a standard way for assistants to use tools. The assistant works with your permissions: it can read what you can read.

When it wants to change something, it makes a proposal. Nothing is applied until you review the proposal on the AI agents page and press Apply. Posts, replies and profile changes still go through the normal approval after that.

Connect in three steps

  1. Open AI agents. Create a token. Choose read only if the assistant should not propose anything.
  2. Copy the connect command shown on the page and run it in your assistant.
  3. Try a prompt, for example asking which reviews still need a reply.

Tokens are shown once. You can revoke one at any time under Settings, then API tokens. Only the person who owns a token can apply or cancel what it proposed.

Needs setup. The connect command needs the server's public MCP address to be set. If it is not, the page shows a placeholder where the address goes.
