Rank tracking

See where a location ranks on Google Maps, point by point across a grid.

Set up a tracker

  1. Open Rank tracking, then New tracker.
  2. Pick a location and up to 5 keywords.
  3. Choose the grid size, the distance to the edge, the centre point and how often to run it.
  4. Check the cost box, then create the tracker.

Each run shows a map with a numbered pin per grid point, your average rank, how many points you are in the top 3, and a table of competitors. You can compare a run with the previous one.

Quick scan

Quick scan checks a business that is not one of your locations, for example a prospect, without adding it to your trackers.

Cost and budget

Every run has a cost shown before you start. Owners and admins set a monthly budget, and a run that would go over it is refused. You can also use your own DataForSEO key. Runs on your own key do not count against the budget.

Needs setup. Right now rank tracking shows sample data, marked on the page, until a live ranking data source is connected. The street map also needs a Google Maps key on the server; without it you see a table instead.
